Kingsley Senior Living Facility in Canton, MI is seeking dedicated Care Staff to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
- Administer medications as a primary responsibility, providing hands-on care to each resident.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, which may include light housekeeping duties.
- Adhere to all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate with the supervisor.
- Administer medications and injections according to medical charts.
- Follow the schedule and assist residents with repositioning as needed.
- Complete documentation regarding medication administration in accordance with procedures.
- Exercise sound judgment in providing care and ensuring resident safety.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill their responsibilities.
- Complete all required documentation and chart entries accurately.
- Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
- Assist residents with meal trays and support them during mealtime.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
