What You Will Be Doing as a MedSpeed Medical Driver:
- Primarily operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials.
- Utilize a hand-held scanning device to accurately track items throughout the transportation cycle.
- Adhere strictly to operating policies, procedures, and service schedules.
- Maintain a professional image through your appearance and interactions with clients and the public.
- Load and unload company vehicles using appropriate equipment.
- Exhibit safe and courteous driving behavior at all times.
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is clean and orderly.
- Adapt and perform all duties across various routes, as assignments may change based on client and business needs.
- Foster teamwork and adaptability with colleagues and clients.

What You Need to Become a MedSpeed Medical Driver:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Must be at least 19 years old with an active driver’s license held for a minimum of 3 years.
- Proven dependability and reliability.
- Comfortable working with and adapting to technology.
- Ability to closely follow established procedures.
- Competence in planning efficient routes between multiple locations.
- Ability to pass both initial and random drug and alcohol screenings.
- Capable of driving a non-commercial vehicle on various roads and under differing weather conditions.
- An exceptional driving history is a must.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required by location and local mandates.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to lift items from storage racks.
- Comfortable walking long distances and standing for extended periods.
