Job description:
The Bartender, supervised by the Banquet Captain, is responsible for welcoming guests and efficiently serving food and beverages while maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas. This role involves delivering attentive, cheerful, and professional customer service to all patrons—internal and external— and consistently aiming to exceed their expectations.
Essential Functions (including but not limited to):
- Mix and serve beverages to guests.
- Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol purchase.
- Maintain a fully stocked bar, ready to serve guests.
- Clean and organize work and bar areas throughout the shift, ensuring readiness for the next team.
- Adhere to policies preventing service to minors or intoxicated patrons.
- Follow TIPS guidelines for responsible alcohol service.
- Provide exceptional customer service that is courteous and professional.
- Rotate inventory to ensure freshness of products.
Additional Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Process cash transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation with the point-of-sale system.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
