Job description:

As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that your team operates at peak productivity during each shift while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Hourly Pay: $20.00/hr
Shift(s): Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Location: Marengo, OH 43334

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the On-Site Manager to establish shift and operational schedules to effectively serve our local customers.
  • Assist in the recruitment and development of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies concerning safety and human resources.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, and coordinate office equipment maintenance.
  • Support forklift driver tasks as necessary.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of movements using the appropriate forms.
  • Participate in addressing employee relations issues in collaboration with the On-Site Manager.
  • Load and unload materials from trailers, ensuring they are moved to the correct staging areas within the facility.
  • Verify that loads are secure.
  • Conduct daily equipment checks on all industrial power equipment.
  • Inspect products to confirm adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform basic financial data entry tasks.
  • Carry out assignments accurately, promptly, and safely.
  • Uphold a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Forklift certification.
