Position Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the facility. This includes overseeing non-clinical functions such as facility management, administrative support, regulatory compliance, and client coordination. You will serve as a vital liaison among families, staff, vendors, and leadership, fostering a respectful and solution-oriented atmosphere centered on exceptional customer service and collaboration. Upholding high operational standards, protecting client privacy, and modeling professionalism in all interactions are essential to this role in support of our organization’s mission and values.

Position Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of social service experience.

  2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years in behavioral healthcare, specifically in crisis intervention or managing a therapeutic milieu.

  3. Licensure/Certification: QMHS +3 preferred; QMHS +3 eligible candidates are welcome to apply.

  4. Skills Required: Outstanding verbal de-escalation and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Milieu:

    • Serve as a crisis intervention specialist, responding to patient care needs and triaging issues.
    • Document all crisis interventions within the CareLogic EHR system.
    • Address immediate facility needs regarding upkeep and safety.
  • Parent/Referral Source Coordination:

    • Provide backup to the call center during peak times.
    • Communicate with parents about financial responsibilities and collaborate with the Billing Manager when necessary.
    • Manage ROI requests and ensure proper documentation within patient charts.
  • Office Coordination:
    • Establish systems to maintain an organized and clean facility.
    • Communicate facility needs with vendors and the cleaning company; direct major issues to the Administrative Director.
    • Assist in tracking facility inspections.
