We are currently seeking a New Home Sales Assistant with experience in sales, customer service, and/or real estate to join our nationwide team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the fulfillment of the American Dream. As the largest privately owned seller of new homes in America, New Home Star invites you to support our sales team by staffing the model, managing administrative tasks, and providing marketing assistance. Your contributions will be essential as you serve as a key resource for the sales team. This position is located in Columbus, OH, in partnership with our builder, Maronda Homes.

Requirements

New Home Star seeks an educated, motivated, and goal-oriented professional to assist our sales team. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Availability during weekdays with some weekend flexibility.
  • A high school diploma is required; some college coursework is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or professional capacity is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills are essential.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A real estate license is a plus.
  • Background checks are required.

Responsibilities

  • Staff the sales office and deliver exceptional customer service to visitors.
  • Perform general office duties, including answering phones and responding to emails.
  • Greet office visitors and clients upon arrival.
  • This part-time role averages around 30 hours per week, with an hourly pay of $18.
  • Successfully navigate a high-traffic customer environment.
