Job description:

Travel General Laborer – Night Shift

SPAR is expanding our overnight construction team and is seeking dedicated and reliable full-time laborers. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively and work nights from 9 PM to 6 AM. A willingness to learn and familiarity with basic tools is essential. Our traveling team will work within home improvement retail chains, focusing on building and managing heavy steel and pallet racking systems. Successful Racking Team Members may advance to Senior Lead positions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physically demanding construction work
• Overhaul large retail stores during overnight hours
• Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers
• Relocate products from old to new pallet racking
• Construct and assemble retail shelving fixtures
• Update signage, shelf conditions, and complete schematics
• Engage in substantial physical activity, including the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight shifts
• Ability to follow directions for tagging, rotating, and shelving products
• Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights of 20 feet as needed
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Experience using basic hand and power tools (participants must provide their own hard hat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Proficient in using basic tools required for the role
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Personal cell phone and valid email address are required
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Appropriate work footwear must be worn on the job site
