Job description:

As a Night Guest Services Agent, you will play a crucial role in welcoming and registering guests while ensuring a seamless check-out process. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following key tasks:

  • Greet guests warmly and oversee the registration process, including entering and retrieving information from the computer, confirming guest details and room rates, room selection, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing initiatives, providing a welcome packet, and ensuring guests are informed of their room locations or have assistance when needed.

  • Facilitate guest check-out by accurately accounting for rooms and services, utilizing the point-of-sale system, handling cash transactions, processing credit and debit cards, recording various payment methods, converting foreign currency, making change, and managing gift certificates and cards.

  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the hotel’s offerings, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area attractions, while addressing guest inquiries with expertise.

  • Utilize up-selling techniques to enhance guest experiences and maximize room occupancy through effective promotion of hotel services and amenities.

  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues with friendliness and efficiency to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Address and resolve guest complaints through thorough research and negotiation of solutions.

  • Manage incoming messages, ensuring accurate input, retrieval, and delivery to guests.
