Job description:
The Bartender, under the supervision of the Lead Bartender, is responsible for warmly welcoming and serving guests with food and beverages in a professional and timely manner while maintaining cleanliness and stocking of work areas. This role demands an individual dedicated to providing attentive, cheerful, and courteous customer service, consistently striving to exceed the expectations of both internal and external clientele.
Essential Functions:
- Mixes and serves beverages and food items to guests.
- Adheres to all Kewadin policies and procedures related to bar service.
- Prepares ready-to-eat food items in the bar/lounge area.
- Verifies the identification of customers to confirm age eligibility for alcohol purchase.
- Ensures the bar is fully stocked and prepared to serve guests.
- Maintains cleanliness of work and bar areas throughout the shift, ensuring readiness for subsequent shifts.
- Enforces regulations to prevent service to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Complies with TIPS guidelines for responsible service.
- Delivers attentive, cheerful, and professional service to all customers.
- Rotates inventory to guarantee the freshness of products sold.
- Prepares and cuts fruits and vegetables for garnishments during each shift.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Processes cash transactions accurately and reconciles them to the point-of-sale system.
