Job description:
As a valued member of our team at SSP America, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Your responsibilities as a Utility will include:

– Ensuring a positive guest experience by maintaining clean and hygienic work areas.
– Properly disposing of refuse in designated areas.
– Cleaning and maintaining various surfaces and equipment, including floors, ceilings, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas.
– Clearing and resetting tables in dining areas and transporting service ware to the kitchen for thorough cleaning.
– Scraping food remnants from dishes, pots, and pans to wash by hand or load into the dishwasher, returning them to the appropriate storage locations.
– Utilizing specific chemicals to clean equipment in accordance with sanitary standards, which may involve heavy equipment operation.
– Assisting guests by addressing specific requests and communicating their needs to servers or supervisors.
– Loading and unloading supply trucks to facilitate the transfer of materials between storage and work areas.
– Stocking, dating, rotating, and monitoring the temperature of food items to ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards.
– Performing other duties as assigned.
