Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator (DBA) for a dynamic organization based in the Greater Cleveland, OH area. This full-time, onsite position presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about enhancing the performance, reliability, and security of the database environment.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise with Postgres, SQL Server, and various open-source platforms to ensure optimal database stability and function as the primary resource for database operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and optimize relational databases, including Postgres, SQL Server, and open-source platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and IT teams to enhance performance, scalability, and data integrity.
  • Monitor database systems, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize queries.
  • Manage database backups and conduct periodic restoration tests.
  • Assist in patching, upgrades, and version control planning.
  • Uphold security protocols and oversee user access management.
