Job Title: Server/Wait staff

Company: Homestead

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Pay: $15 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of my last update, an hourly rate of $15 for a Server/Wait staff position in Sterling Heights, MI, is relatively on par with the prevailing wages for similar roles in the area, although it may be slightly below average compared to nearby urban centers. In Michigan, the typical pay for servers often ranges from $12 to $20 per hour, depending on factors like experience, establishment type, and tips. Considering the minimum wage in Michigan is gradually increasing and the potential for tips in the service industry, this rate may not be highly competitive for attracting experienced staff, particularly if other nearby establishments offer higher wages or benefits. Overall, while $15 is a reasonable starting point, it might require adjustments or incentives to effectively compete for talent in the area.
