Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service daily, exceeding expectations while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Load orders into delivery vehicles with accuracy.
  • Verify delivery contents for correctness and ensure efficient routing.
  • Accurately complete return forms, invoices, transfers, and all relevant paperwork.
  • Undertake additional warehouse tasks when deliveries are not pending.
  • Adhere to safety regulations consistently and follow vehicle safety protocols at all times.
  • Communicate pertinent information to the manager promptly.
  • Address customer inquiries politely and courteously, redirecting to the manager when necessary.
  • Ensure timely delivery of customer orders in a professional manner.
  • Execute only assigned deliveries.
  • Contact the manager from customer locations as required.
  • Initial cash invoices legibly and follow proper cash handling procedures.
  • Record essential information on all invoices.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks as needed.
  • Notify the manager of any non-routine vehicle repairs or maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle daily.
  • Perform facility maintenance tasks, including housekeeping and other responsibilities.
  • Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and proactivity in interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues at all times.
  • Follow oral and written instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a team, especially under tight deadlines.

Education and Experience
