Job description:

This position is for P&G’s Global Company Communications Executive Event Technical Producer. In this role, you will collaborate with P&G Executives and Communications Managers to oversee the technical execution of key company events, effectively aligning with organizational goals and objectives. The role demands extensive technical knowledge and hands-on expertise with audio-visual tools and best practices for both in-person and virtual meetings, alongside the ability to manage large teams, adhere to deadlines, and work within budgets.

The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter with a proven track record in leading high-profile, ambitious productions. You will also be responsible for developing high-quality visual communication assets, such as videos, graphics, and presentations. Key Responsibilities include:

Strategic Event Management Planning and Execution

  • Assess the technical requirements for significant internal and external company events.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans for the technical delivery of these events.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior executives and communications managers during event production.
  • Execute these events with the highest standards of quality.

Communications Counsel

  • Foster positive relationships and proactively collaborate with C-Suite executives, their executive assistants, and supporting communications managers.
  • Provide strategic guidance on effective meeting and event practices to help achieve organizational engagement goals.
  • Benchmark against both internal and external best-in-class exemplars and share insights across the organization.
  • Offer training on effective event management practices, along with templates and resources to facilitate the successful delivery of engaging and informative events.

Content Creation and Management

  • Utilize content creation skills across various platforms, including AI-enabled tools, to develop, review, and edit visual materials that clearly convey key messages.
  • Provide strategic guidance on exceptional visual communications.
  • Ensure all visual communications align with corporate equity standards.

IT Relationship and Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with P&G IT on virtual meeting tools, information security, and vendor access.
  • Manage relationships with audio-visual partner companies.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with C-Suite executives and their executive assistants, as well as with supporting communications managers.
  • Offer strategic insights on best practices for meetings and events to help achieve organizational engagement goals.
  • Have deep expertise in the latest audio-visual equipment, with the capacity to troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with production teams for effective event implementation.
  • Be proficient in audio-visual content creation tools, including the O365 suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Have substantial experience with virtual meeting platforms, such as BrandLive, RingCentral, Teams (webinar and town hall), and WebEx.
  • Effectively influence P&G’s IT organization and represent Company Communications perspectives related to information security and third-party access to P&G’s network, as well as the latest suite of virtual meeting tools.
  • Benchmark against both internal and external best-in-class models and share proactive insights with the organization.
  • Thrive under pressure and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exhibit efficiency and innovation to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of executive events.
