We are currently seeking to fill on-call Bartender positions immediately.
Location: Cleveland Museum of Art – 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland, OH 44106. Please note that applications are accepted online only.
Schedule: This position features an on-call schedule with varying days and hours, including weekends, weekdays, mornings, afternoons, and nights. More details will be provided during the interview process.
Requirements: While previous bartending experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in the bar area with a friendly, courteous, and timely approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comply with state, federal, and corporate regulations concerning the service of alcoholic beverages, particularly for minors and intoxicated guests.
- Set up designated bars, requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
- Maintain stock levels and properly prepare and store fresh fruit, vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishable items to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner.
- Take orders for drinks, mix and garnish beverages according to standard recipes, and practice prudent portion control.
- Verify guest identification at the bar.
- Identify signs of guest inebriation and respond appropriately, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
- Process cash transactions, make change, validate charges, record transactions, and ensure that all vouchers are executed correctly.
- Secure the storage of all beverage products, food items, equipment, deposits, and cash drops.
- Perform general cleaning tasks to uphold health and safety standards while keeping the work area organized and tidy.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to create an appealing display within the bar area.
- Wash and sterilize glassware.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
