Job description:

As an Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you will play a vital role in our Auto Service centers, where your primary responsibilities will include professionally inspecting, diagnosing, and performing automotive services while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot automotive issues effectively, demonstrating strong diagnostic skills.
• Inspect, repair, and diagnose key systems, including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with advancements in automotive technology, fostering teamwork to ensure timely and accurate guest care throughout all operating hours.
• Maintain high standards for sales, service, safety, and workplace cleanliness, utilizing appropriate protective equipment when operating machinery and tools.
• Perform various manual tasks over extended periods, which may involve light and heavy lifting, as well as activities such as standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Requirements:

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• A minimum of three years of experience in automotive repair, encompassing diagnosis, problem-solving, and repairs, is required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred qualifications include Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A4 Certification in Steering and Suspension and A5 Certification in Brakes, along with state inspection licenses and/or MAC certification.
