Job Summary:
The Restoration Sales Representative will initiate communication with individuals and organizations to establish meetings and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, ultimately securing referrals for customers in need of our cleaning and restoration services. The primary objective is to garner commitments from potential referral sources while fostering robust connections with our existing clientele and partners. Through regular phone and in-person interactions, we aim to ensure continued customer loyalty and support, enhancing retention and strengthening our network of reliable referral sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential new customers and sources of referrals.
  • Strategically plan sales calls, meetings, presentations, and event participation.
  • Create and maintain detailed sales route records.
  • Conduct sales calls that lead to scheduled meetings with prospective referral sources.
  • Secure customer commitments that result in referrals for cleaning and restoration services.
  • Complete weekly and monthly sales reports promptly.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to review performance and strategies.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing customers through phone and in-person visits.
  • Manage and update the customer contact database.
  • Deliver group presentations to prospective organizations.
  • Actively participate in trade, community, and networking events to enhance visibility and relationships.

Working Relationships & Scope:

  • Collaborate with managers across all company functions to support capacity planning and ensure the effective delivery of quality services to customers.
  • Engage with key trade and community associations to access potential customer prospects and partnership opportunities.
  • Work closely with Operations management and Project Managers to stay informed about active job statuses and updates for customers and referral sources.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience: A minimum of four to six years of experience in relationship selling to high-level executives.
  • Selling Skills: Proficient in the concepts of differentiation and value addition. Familiar with customer markets, including the challenges they face, and capable of translating this knowledge into effective selling strategies. Skilled in building long-term relationships that drive revenue growth.
  • Financial Acumen: Understands the components of financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Mathematical Skills: Possesses strong mathematical abilities, enabling translation of business information into estimated revenue potential and comfortable evaluating actual performance against sales plans.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in the use of computer systems and software, including MS Office Suite (Word and Excel) and enterprise systems.
