Job description:
The Sales Operations team collaborates closely with the planning and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns that exceed client expectations. We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically adept problem solver with exceptional customer service skills and leadership qualities to join our team.
As a Digital Operations Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with NBC and Peacock teams for Ad Operations Quality Assurance across video web, mobile web, app, and OTT ads.
- Working with account teams to collect all digital campaign media assets and executing campaigns in the ad servers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all campaign elements in our DFP Premium and FreeWheel ad servers.
- Troubleshooting ad serving issues in coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure resolution.
- Providing training and support while managing communication with external and internal teams, acting as the technical expert on our systems, including Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel, and Operative One.
- Reviewing and approving all elements of digital advertising products and the associated ad serving technology stack before releases, including video ad servers, video players, display ad servers, and third-party channel partners.
- Collecting all digital campaign media assets and ensuring delivery meets established specifications and lead times.
- Processing first-party hosted creative and managing the transition of all assets to our internal sales operations team.
- Engaging directly with the Digital Media Advertising Sales Team and clients to ensure campaign fulfillment.
- Coordinating with sales marketing/site leaders to schedule campaigns for calendar-based sponsorships and events.
- Demonstrating functional knowledge in trafficking campaigns using DFP Premium, FreeWheel, and Operative.
- Generating first and third-party reports as required.
- Working independently and collaboratively within the Ad Operations team, with the ability to effectively multitask and manage time and priorities.
- Handling a high volume of emails and multiple ongoing campaigns.
- Exhibiting strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Collaborating with sales, inventory management, marketing, and product development teams to review, resolve, and respond to inbound requests.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales Operations.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States, both now and in the future.
- Willingness to work in the entertainment media industry, which may involve availability on weekends during live events.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong comprehension of online video and display advertising as well as ad serving.
- Excellent client relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience trafficking in an ad server (DoubleClick DFP Premium, FreeWheel).
- Familiarity with front-end order management systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in digital media terminology such as impressions, CTR, CPMs, and eCPMs.
- Familiarity with online measurement concepts like uniques, pageviews, visits, and referrers.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, including formulas).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and ActionScript.
- Understanding of ad serving specifications such as VAST and VPAID.
- Experience with basic image editing, including taking screenshots and cropping.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced environment.
