Job Description
Job Title: Med Tech 2nd shift
Company: Oakleigh of Macomb
Location: Macomb, MI
Pay: $16.5 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $16.50 for a “Med Tech 2nd shift” position in Macomb, MI, appears to be on the lower end of the pay scale for similar roles in the healthcare industry. According to various salary data sources, medical technicians in Michigan generally earn between $18 to $25 per hour, with variations based on experience, certifications, and specific job requirements. While entry-level positions may align closer to the offered rate, the overall compensation does not fully meet the industry standard for more experienced med tech roles or reflect the demands of second-shift positions, which often require shift differentials. Therefore, this rate may not be competitive enough to attract quality candidates in the region.
