Haven Home Care is seeking compassionate State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our dedicated team in Summit County and surrounding areas. Services You Will Provide:

• Personal Care Services:

  • Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and grooming
  • Helping with eating and meal management
  • Supporting clients with household management and personal affairs
  • Assisting clients with self-administration of medications (not dispensing)
  • Performing essential housekeeping to ensure client health and welfare
  • Conducting additional activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in clients’ individualized care plans
• Homemaking Services:
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Grocery purchase planning and shopping assistance
  • Laundry services (including folding, ironing, and putting away)
  • General house cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and kitchen and bathroom care)
  • Changing bed linens and maintaining a clean living environment
  • Providing respite services for the client’s regular caregiver
  • Completing other homemaking tasks as specified in the client’s care plan

Important Work Guidelines:

• Weight lifting maximum of 25 lbs
• No medication dispensing or administration
• Services provided only in clients’ homes
• No driving clients in any vehicle
• No medical procedures or treatments; professional boundaries maintained (no sharing of personal contact information)
• All care will be supervised by nursing staff

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to access homes that may not be wheelchair accessible
• Adequate hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity for client care
• May need to assist clients with mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written

Requirements:

• Active Ohio STNA License
• Valid Driver’s License
