Responsibilities:

– Welcome all members and guests with an emphasis on engagement and retention.
– Assist in sales of memberships, retail items, and tanning products.
– Promote various membership benefits, including tanning, group fitness classes, small group training, and childcare services.
– Meet enrollment expectations for new members.
– Check in all members and guests according to company protocols, addressing any check-in alerts as necessary.
– Answer phone calls in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner.
– Communicate special events to members and guests effectively.
– Facilitate member requests or escalate issues to management as appropriate.
– Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
– Acquire expertise in all club facilities, services, programs, and operational hours.
– Ensure a clean and organized workstation.
– Navigate all front desk stations, including check-in, Relax & Recover, guest services, and membership sales.
– Execute opening and closing checklists and duties.

Requirements:

– A minimum of 1 year of experience in a service-oriented role is preferred.
– Effective communication skills, with a demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing.
– A strong commitment to customer service excellence.
– CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Physical Requirements:

– Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
– Daily responsibilities involve prolonged standing and walking.

Reporting Structure:

– Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
