Job description:

A Banquet Server is responsible for the setup and service of all assigned banquet functions.

  • Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Ensure all certification requirements are met for the position, including Alcohol Awareness, Food Handling, Safety, etc.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work to ensure prompt and efficient service to guests.
  • Be adept at reading the Banquet Event Order and familiar with the menu for assigned functions.
  • Undertake additional duties as required.
  • Access back-of-house areas of the hotel and manage sensitive information responsibly.
  • Interact with guests and/or colleagues and occasionally have unsupervised contact.
  • Have access to sensitive areas in hotel premises, including the hotel safe and secured file cabinets.
  • Maintain a high level of trust and responsibility.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and good character, exercising sound judgment.
