Job description:

We are seeking a part-time associate to sample products for suppliers at a Sam’s Club location. This role involves introducing customers to new and innovative items through engaging product tasting events and demonstrations. While prior experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, brand ambassadorship, or brand advocacy is advantageous, it is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to effectively communicate essential product information.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations during the preparation of samples (cooking, processing, plating, and serving).
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales objectives for showcased products.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be at least 16 years old (individuals working with alcohol or production must be 18+).
• Availability on weekends (Friday to Sunday) is preferred, though holiday and weekday shifts may also be available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays is necessary.
• Ability to safely operate kitchen appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Capability to stand for the duration of events.
