Services You Will Provide:

– Personal Care Services:
– Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming
– Support with eating and meal management
– Assistance with household management and personal affairs
– Support for self-administration of medications (no dispensing)
– Essential housekeeping for client health and welfare
– Additional activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in individualized care plans

– Homemaking Services:
– Meal planning and preparation
– Grocery shopping assistance
– Laundry services including folding, ironing, and organizing
– House cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining kitchen and bathroom cleanliness
– Changing bed linens and ensuring a clean living environment
– Providing respite services for the client’s regular caregiver
– Completing other homemaking tasks as defined in the care plan

Important Work Guidelines:

– Weight limit of 25 lbs for lifting
– No medication dispensing or administration
– Services are provided only when the client is present
– No transportation of clients in any vehicle
– No medical procedures or treatments performed; professional boundaries maintained (no sharing of personal contact information)
– All care will be supervised by nursing staff

Physical Requirements:

– Ability to access homes that may not be wheelchair accessible
– Sufficient hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity for effective client care
– May require assistance with client mobility using proper techniques and equipment
– Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds
– Must possess clear communication skills, both verbal and written
