Job Summary
Candidates must possess open availability on weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
– Provide outstanding customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
– Manage all front desk activities, including but not limited to:
– Answering phones warmly and assisting callers with various inquiries.
– Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
– Processing new member sign-ups.
– Guiding prospective members on tours of the club.
– Facilitating necessary updates to member accounts.
– Addressing member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when necessary.
– Assisting in maintaining the club’s cleanliness and organization.
– Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of the club environment.
– Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker rooms, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
– Stocking locker rooms with appropriate supplies and paper products.
– Reporting any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment, etc.) to the Club Manager.
– Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” by promptly submitting lost member property to the Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements
– A background in customer service is preferred.
– Basic proficiency in computer use is necessary.
– A passion for fitness and health is essential.
– Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
– Punctuality and reliability are critical.
– Possess exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations.
– Strong listening skills with the capacity to empathize and solve problems effectively.
– Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions, utilizing appropriate behavior and language.
– A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
– Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands
– Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
– Frequent in-person communication with members and answering incoming membership calls.
– Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
– Duties include using cleaning chemicals during the shift.
– Consistent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and frequently used surfaces within the club.
– Actively monitor the club and assist members during the entirety of the shift.
