Job description:

As an Automotive Technician at Belle Tire, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers’ lives moving by providing expert automotive repairs. What You’ll Do

  • Execute automotive repairs on various systems, including engine repair, drivetrain/axles, suspension/steering, brakes, electrical systems, heating/air conditioning, and engine performance.
  • Ensure that all work adheres to Belle Tire’s high standards for quality and safety.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by consistently exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Hold a State of Michigan Mechanic Certification (required for Michigan applicants only).
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair/mechanics.
  • Demonstrate a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • ASE Certifications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Work Environment
This position is situated within a tire and automotive service retail store. Hours may vary, with availability required from Monday through Saturday, and possible overtime. The work setting is fast-paced, involving physical demands such as prolonged standing and heavy lifting.
