Job description:

The Delivery Service Driver plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our CDL-certified drivers foster strong relationships with food service customers, consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience at each stop throughout their route. In this position, you will operate an automatic straight truck with a Gross Vehicle Weight rating of 12,000-20,000 lbs., following a designated local route to deliver our products. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for addressing customer needs.

Primary Job Accountabilities:

  • Adhere to internal processes and procedures, along with all local and federally regulated requirements, including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
  • Maintain a safe and valid Commercial Driver’s License.
  • Execute deliveries and pickups by loading and unloading products, utilizing hoses, and connecting to fill stations, while checking tanks inside customer locations.
  • Verify log information and accurately enter all related data into iPhone applications, including hours of service and customer invoicing.
  • Communicate proactively with customers to ensure performance meets standards and expectations.
  • Provide efficient and professional service to fulfill customer needs, including training on our systems as required.
  • Monitor and report on customer stops, ensuring accurate tracking and preventing oil outs.

Education, Requirements & Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • CDL Class A or B driver’s license with Tanker Endorsement.
  • A minimum of 6 months of driving experience or recent graduation from an accredited CDL program.
  • Compliance with Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand.
  • Unrestricted capability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn, and reach.
  • Ability to climb up to 20 feet using a ladder.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual.
  • Familiarity with hand tools.
  • Over 2 years of CDL-regulated driving experience is highly preferred.

Schedule: 4/10 workweek, Wednesday through Saturday, starting at 3:00 PM, with two hotel stays required per week.
Compensation: $28.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials.
