We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security Officer with an active Secret Clearance, offering a starting pay of $24.72 per hour. Eligible candidates must be at least 21 years of age, possess an active secret clearance, and be available to work third shift schedules, including weekends. As a Cleared Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will be entrusted with sensitive information and tasked with safeguarding classified data and personnel. You will receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols related to your clearance level, conducive to both skill development and career growth within the security sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality security services, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and information with the utmost professionalism.
  • Conduct foot, bicycle, or vehicle patrols within and around the facility to protect individuals, assets, and sensitive or classified materials.
  • Greet guests and employees, escorting visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Adhere to site-specific performance manuals and post orders by reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances through both written and oral communication to clients and/or other security personnel.
  • Respond to and assess security and emergency alarms.
  • Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

Qualifications (Must Have):

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
  • A Department of Defense (DoD) appropriate-level security clearance.
  • Compliance with state and/or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
  • One or more of the following:
    • A minimum of three years of security experience on a DoD-cleared site.
    • Prior military experience.
    • Proficient written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Outstanding customer service skills.
    • Intermediate computer skills to effectively operate innovative wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Previous law enforcement or armed security experience.
  • Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
