In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of the company’s products and services through client acquisition and expansion of our customer base, ultimately aiming to enhance profitability within the Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
– Utilize the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and effectively present the Paychex solutions to key stakeholders in both in-person and virtual settings to boost revenue and market share.
– Schedule appointments and meet with potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
– Prospect for new clients and referral sources through various channels, including phone outreach, direct mail, seminars, client visits, and local marketing initiatives directed by Sales management.
– Assess customer needs and interests, recommending appropriate products, and making referrals as necessary.
– Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by specified deadlines set by Sales management.
– Facilitate the resolution of customer issues or complaints promptly.
– Represent the Corporation positively to clients and the community.
– Travel outside your designated territory may be required for conferences, training sessions, and area Zone meetings as needed.

Qualifications:
– High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
– A minimum of 7 years of experience in professional sales, with at least 5 years in the HCM industry.
– Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
– Familiarity with CORE HCM providers.
– Experience working with mid-sized or larger businesses.
– A valid Driver’s License is required.

Compensation:
To promote pay transparency, we share that the compensation range for this role typically falls between $75,000 and $150,000. This range comprises base salary plus commissions and does not encompass all components of the comprehensive rewards package. Upon hire, total compensation will be influenced by geographic location, skills, education, and relevant experience, potentially resulting in compensation outside this range.
