Job description:
This full-time position requires the flexibility to work one weekend day, with shifts scheduled from 12 PM to 8 PM, 2 PM to 10 PM, and/or 3 PM to 11 PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Perform various front desk-related activities, including but not limited to:
- Answering phones in a friendly manner and assisting callers with diverse inquiries.
- Checking IDs and member barcodes into the system.
- Facilitating new member sign-ups.
- Conducting tours of the club for prospective members.
- Updating member accounts as required.
- Responding promptly and professionally to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to the Assistant Club Manager when necessary.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the club’s neatness and cleanliness.
- Monitoring safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment, and gym floors.
- Stocking locker rooms with necessary supplies and paper products.
- Reporting broken or missing amenities or equipment (e.g., toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment) to the Club Manager.
- Adhering to the “Lost and Found Policy” and promptly turning in lost member property to the Club Manager/Assistant Club Manager.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications.

Physical Demands

- Frequent verbal communication with members and responding to incoming membership calls.
- Capacity to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in utilizing chemicals for cleaning during shifts.
- Ongoing responsibility to clean and sanitize equipment and frequently touched surfaces in the club.
- Continuously monitoring the club and assisting members throughout the entirety of the shift.
