Job description:

As part of our interdisciplinary team, caregivers and Home Health Aides (HHAs) deliver hands-on personal care, monitor changes in clients’ conditions, and perform basic procedures in support of therapy or nursing services. You will assist with incidental and instrumental activities of daily living for clients in a home setting, as evaluated or delegated, and in compliance with the policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare, along with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Key Responsibilities for Caregivers/Home Health Aides:

• Deliver personal care and support to enable seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Support clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document client conditions, and communicate any concerns to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment with clear pathways.
• Engage clients in enjoyable activities, including puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of prior adult caregiving experience or the successful completion of a CNA course/certificate.
• Two positive references.
