Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver
Company: Visiting Angels
Location: Hillsdale, MI
Pay: $17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17 for a caregiver position in Hillsdale, MI, is slightly below the national average, which typically ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and specific responsibilities. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for caregivers hovers around $15 to $21, making the $17 rate relatively competitive but on the lower end, especially in regions with a higher cost of living or greater demand for care services. Factors such as qualifications, specialized skills, and local market conditions can also influence the competitiveness of this pay rate. Overall, while $17 an hour is a reasonable starting wage, it may not fully reflect the value and demands of the caregiving profession in this area.
