Job description:

Vista IT Group is seeking a seasoned Information Technology professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team as a Tier 2 Support Desk Engineer. In this role, the Support Desk Engineer will respond to customer inquiries via calls and emails, as well as address escalations from Tier 1 support engineers. Additionally, this position will involve project work related to the configuration of server, storage, and networking systems for Vista’s clientele.

Desired Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess experience with some or all of the following technologies, and will be assessed on their breadth and depth of knowledge:

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, A+, Network+, Server+, Storage+, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Office 365, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficient understanding of Office 365 and its associated applications.
  • Familiarity with configuring and managing network devices, including VLAN configuration, routing, and both wired and wireless networking.
  • Experience in configuring and maintaining VPNs for secure remote access.
  • Cloud platform experience, particularly with AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with imaging processes, deployment from images, and maintaining baseline images.
