Job Description
Job Title: Licensed Veterinary Technician – Urgent Care
Company: Lake Huron Veterinary Clinic
Location: Port Huron, MI
Pay: $20 – 25 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $20 to $25 for a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Urgent Care in Port Huron, MI, is somewhat below the national average, which typically ranges from $24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and specific duties. In Michigan, the average salary for veterinary technicians is around $20 to $27 per hour, but urgent care facilities often offer higher rates due to the demanding nature of the work and after-hours responsibilities. Therefore, while the offered rate may attract entry-level candidates, it may not be competitive for experienced technicians, particularly in urgent care settings, potentially affecting employee retention and job satisfaction.
