Job description:

2nd and 3rd Shift Openings: 3 PM – 11 PM / 11 PM – 7 AM
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.

Job Summary:
The Security Personnel will provide comprehensive security services as defined in the post orders while fostering collaborative relationships with clients, local law enforcement, and emergency service providers. Security Officers must maintain a heightened awareness of their surroundings, diligently observing and documenting all activities within their designated area. A professional image and commitment to exceptional customer service are paramount.

Basic Functions:

  • Control entry points and manage pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
  • Conduct regular patrols of buildings and perimeter areas.
  • Escort materials and personnel as required.
  • Inspect security and fire safety exposures.
  • Execute specific security assignments as directed.

Responsibilities:
Duties may vary based on departmental structure, geographical location, and post assignments. Reasonable accommodations can be made for specific ADA requirements. The general responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

  • Arriving on time in the assigned uniform.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor while greeting customers, visitors, and employees courteously.
  • Staying informed about revisions to post orders and updates from the client and Andy Frain Security.
  • Patrolling designated areas or maintaining a fixed position, promptly reporting suspicious activities and investigating incidents.
  • Monitoring surveillance equipment continuously, as specified by the post orders.
  • Understanding and applying all emergency policies and procedures to respond effectively to alarms and incidents.
  • Completing daily activity reports, logbook entries, and other relevant documentation.
  • Proposing enhancements to safety and loss prevention procedures based on observations during daily functions.
  • Keeping abreast of life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV systems, and other relevant equipment, ensuring safe operational conditions.
  • Adhering to training and compliance guidelines as set forth by Andy Frain Services and other regulatory agencies.
  • Communicating regularly with the Security Supervisor regarding emerging security issues or necessary changes.
