As a key team member, you will be responsible for upholding a clean and organized store environment with an emphasis on floor care. Your role will involve the operation of equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, as well as performing tasks such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning windows and glass surfaces. You will adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards while being cross-trained in various store areas to support business needs.

  • Ensure compliance with all floor care cleanliness standards, which includes proficient maintenance and operation of scrubbers and buffers.
  • Uphold organizational and cleanliness standards across the store, including sales areas, single queues, associate lounges, backrooms, and restrooms.
  • Follow all company health and safety policies, which encompass the replenishment of essential supplies in lounges, restrooms, and front-end areas.
  • Be cross-trained in various store functions, such as backroom operations, front-end duties, and sales floor management.
  • Respond proactively to front-end coverage needs.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and signage in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Initiate and participate in daily store recovery efforts as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with operational and loss prevention protocols to mitigate shrink.
  • Communicate effectively and accurately with both management and colleagues.
  • Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures, including regulations surrounding associate meal and break periods.
  • Engage in safety awareness initiatives to uphold a secure environment.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
