Job Summary:
We are seeking a Corporate Executive Chef to lead and support our culinary team within the senior living and acute care community sectors across various regions and states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational, regional, and corporate culinary plans.
- Provide hands-on training programs to ensure consistency across the region.
- Develop the Culinary Support Team (Regional Chefs) within the region.
- Conduct regular unit visits and complete required reporting in accordance with policy.
- Engage in the sales process and contribute to the acquisition of new business.
- Manage the SG&A budget responsibly and fiscally.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies (local, state, federal) and departmental sanitation policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts – required.
- Ten years of progressive back-of-house food service management experience – required.
- Multi-unit culinary management experience – required.
- Culinary experience in a senior living setting – preferred.
- Three years of P&L / budget management experience – required.
- Expert knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Must be a hands-on manager.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- ServSafe certification – required.
- Willingness to travel 80% – required.
