Job description:
The Manager of Alumni Marketing is responsible for executing and enhancing the firm’s alumni engagement program, collaborating closely with the Senior Manager of Alumni Marketing and various cross-functional teams. This role entails overseeing the day-to-day operations of the alumni program, which includes database management, alumni communications, event planning, and overall engagement. The Manager will develop and implement initiatives focused on alumni outreach, track program metrics, and assist in creating content and campaigns that strengthen alumni relationships while supporting the firm’s objectives. This position works hand-in-hand with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the alumni program remains effective, innovative, and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee the daily operations of the alumni engagement program, including administration of the database and LinkedIn group.
– Coordinate and execute alumni communications, content, campaigns, and events.
– Assist in the formulation and implementation of strategies and initiatives aimed at alumni engagement.
– Collaborate with the Senior Manager and other stakeholders to ensure alumni activities are in harmony with the firm’s strategy.
– Monitor, analyze, and report on program metrics and KPIs, including alumni demographics and engagement levels.
– Support budget management and resource allocation for alumni program activities.
– Partner with the talent team to promote career opportunities and resources available to alumni.
– Maintain and update alumni information within relevant systems.
– Aid in the creation and distribution of newsletters, thought leadership content, and social media updates.
– Refine and optimize workflows and processes to enhance program efficiency.
– Assist in the planning and execution of both virtual and in-person alumni events.
– Contribute to the evolution of an alumni program recognized as a leader within the industry.
– Participate in cross-training with recruitment marketing.
– Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education:
– Bachelor’s degree required.
– Preferred focus in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Public Relations.

Experience:
– Minimum of six years of experience in alumni relations, marketing, business development, or client relations required.
– Demonstrated experience in coordinating engagement programs or events required.
– Experience within a professional services or corporate environment preferred.

Software Skills:
– Proficiency in CRM systems required.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
– Familiarity with web content management systems and social media platforms preferred.
– Experience with Airtable preferred.

Salaries for this position are determined based on various factors including qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
– National Range: $75,000 – $90,000
– Maryland Range: $75,000 – $90,000
– NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $75,000 – $90,000
