We are currently seeking a Cook with a strong focus on hospitality to join our Community Culinary Services Department. This role requires hands-on production cooking and a commitment to maintaining exceptional standards of service and cleanliness at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

– Uphold community standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and organization consistently.
– Ensure adherence to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards at all times.
– Prepare and serve menu items that comply with local nutritional and dietary regulations, adhering to established policies and procedures.
– Demonstrate efficiency, accuracy, and speed in cooking.
– Exhibit comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of cooking preparation and production.
– Assist with meal service and dishwashing as needed.
– Regularly engage with residents to assess food services, including quality, quantity, temperature, and presentation; use feedback to enhance operations and procedures.
– Represent the community warmly and invitingly to create a positive marketing atmosphere.
– Contribute to a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive revenue and occupancy growth.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent required.
– Culinary degree is preferred.
– A minimum of one year of cooking experience in a restaurant or senior living environment.
