We are currently seeking a hospitality-focused Cook to enhance our Community Culinary Services Department. This role entails hands-on cooking and is essential in maintaining high standards of service quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
– Uphold community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization at all times.
– Ensure adherence to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards consistently.
– Prepare and serve menu items compliant with nutritional and dietary regulations, following established policies and procedures.
– Demonstrate efficiency, speed, and accuracy in food preparation.
– Exhibit proficiency in various cooking techniques and production.
– Assist with meal service and dishwashing as required.
– Periodically engage with residents to assess food service quality, making necessary adjustments to enhance the dining experience.
– Represent the community in a warm and welcoming manner, contributing to a positive marketing atmosphere.
– Foster a culture of engagement and sound business decisions that support revenue growth and occupancy.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma required; culinary degree preferred.
– Minimum of one year of cooking experience in a restaurant, senior living, or a comparable setting.
