Job Title: Backend Modernization Engineer III / US Citizens and GC Candidates Only

Company: The Hudson Group

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay: $50 – 55 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $50 – $55 for a “Backend Modernization Engineer III” in Cincinnati, OH, is somewhat competitive but may be on the lower end depending on the candidate’s experience and specific skills. Backend engineers with modern technology stacks often command higher salaries, especially in regions with a robust tech industry. According to industry benchmarks, average salaries for mid to senior-level backend engineers in similar roles typically range from $65 to $100 per hour when adjusted for full-time equivalents, especially for those with in-demand skills like cloud computing, microservices, and database management. Therefore, while the offered rate may appeal to some candidates, it might not attract top talent in a competitive market.
