What You Will Do:
Become a key member of a high-performing audit readiness team supporting the U.S. Air Force Working Capital Fund Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. As an ERP Financial Compliance Consultant for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, you will play a vital role in providing compliance guidance during the system’s development and implementation phases. This position will involve identifying business processes, assessing risks, and developing internal controls and artifacts to meet various audit requirements.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Facilitating meetings to discuss, plan, and identify action items related to audit risks, controls, and documentation.
– Collaborating with teams from other Air Force ERP systems (DEAMS and AFIPPS) to share knowledge and coordinate relevant documentation and processes.
– Researching and addressing audit findings from relevant Air Force IT and Financial Non-Conformance Reports (NFRs) to mitigate future issues.
– Reviewing process and procedure documentation to ensure comprehensive inclusion of audit-related details.
– Acting as a liaison during audits, managing Prepared By Client (PBC) lists and source documents, and leading meetings and status updates for senior leaders.
– Collaborating with teams to document auditable processes, identify evidence pertaining to system controls, and establish protocols for security management, configuration/change management, system access, segregation of duties, and contingency planning.
– Drafting responses to tasks, creating presentations, and developing policies and procedures that highlight associated risks and controls for the establishment of standard operating procedures.
– Maintaining trackers and status reports, along with providing additional audit-related support as requested by the government client.

What You Will Need:
– An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED “SECRET” Federal or DoD security clearance
– A Bachelor’s degree
– A minimum of TEN (10) years of experience in financial or system audits, regulatory compliance, and the design and effectiveness of internal controls
– Familiarity with FISCAM and FIAR requirements

What Would Be Nice To Have:
– Knowledge of the Air Force Working Capital Fund
– Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
– Experience in Federal Financial Reporting Audits
– Familiarity with compliance frameworks including FISCAM, NIST, FIAR, FFMSR, SFFAS, SFIS, and CFO Compliance
– Leadership abilities in coordinating non-accounting team efforts to meet compliance objectives for audit readiness
– Strong presentation skills for communicating status updates to senior leaders
– Proven capability to multitask while prioritizing with keen attention to detail

The annual salary range for this position is $102,000.00 – $170,000.00. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, training, security clearances, licensure, certifications, and other organizational needs.
