Job description:

The Word Equestrian Center in Wilmington, OH is seeking a Full-time Line Cook to enhance our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, relevant experience in food and banquet services, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Weekend availability is essential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the manager on duty to establish daily prep list requirements.
  • Adhere to company recipes and procedures while preparing and cooking food.
  • Maintain cleanliness, efficiency, and organization in the kitchen.
  • Ensure accurate billing by auditing guest checks to confirm proper food item registration.
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and personal appearance.
  • Assist in managing costs and minimizing waste.
  • Follow sanitation and safety protocols diligently.
  • Take ownership of kitchen equipment and its maintenance.
  • Collaborate effectively and professionally with other departments within the restaurant.
  • Participate in opening and closing duties, as well as necessary cleanup tasks.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested by management.
