Job description:

The Word Equestrian Center in Wilmington, OH is actively seeking a Full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team. Successful candidates will possess exceptional customer service skills, a solid background in food and banquet services, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. Availability on weekends is essential.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the manager on duty to review the daily prep list and determine requirements.
  • Adhere to company recipes and procedures in food preparation and cooking.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and organized workstation.
  • Ensure that all food items are accurately recorded on guest checks.
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene and personal appearance.
  • Assist in managing costs and minimizing waste.
  • Follow proper sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Take ownership of kitchen equipment and its maintenance.
  • Work professionally and effectively with other departments within the restaurant.
  • Participate in opening and closing duties, as well as cleanup tasks as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
