Compensation:
This position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $20 to $24 per hour.

Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate (part-time, approximately 20+ hours per week, 1st shift, Monday through Friday), you will engage with walk-in customers, leveraging your guidance, knowledge, and positive demeanor to facilitate solutions. Your role will involve maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and exceeding expectations. Throughout your day, you will seamlessly transition between assisting customers and performing a variety of warehouse tasks. You will report directly to the Store Manager.

You Will:
– Manage the complete customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safe product picking, and loading customer vehicles.
– Identify opportunities to maximize sales and enhance customer loyalty.
– Adjust your communication style to suit various audiences through email, phone, or in-person interactions.
– Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and products for shipping.
– Prepare backorders and organize received stock.
– Assist in merchandising and perform showroom replenishment.
– Conduct inventory counts.
– Learn to navigate various computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization within the branch to meet Grainger’s standards.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with all process standards, including wearing personal protective equipment.

You Have:
– Flexibility to work at any time during branch hours of operation.
– Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
– Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
