Compensation:
This position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $20 to $24 per hour.

Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate (part-time, ~20+ hours per week, 1st shift, Monday to Friday), you will play a crucial role in providing solutions and connecting with walk-in customers through your guidance, knowledge, and positive demeanor. Your responsibilities will include maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and surpassing customer expectations. Throughout the day, your focus will shift between assisting customers and performing various warehouse duties, with supervision provided by the Store Manager.

You Will:
– Oversee the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safe product picking, and secure loading of customer vehicles.
– Identify opportunities to enhance sales and promote customer loyalty.
– Tailor communication styles for different audiences, whether via email, phone, or in-person interactions.
– Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders or shipping products.
– Process customer backorders and organize incoming stock.
– Assist with merchandising and manage showroom replenishment.
– Conduct inventory counts.
– Efficiently navigate various computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
– Maintain the branch’s appearance to meet Grainger’s standards through housekeeping tasks.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with all procedural standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.

You Have:
– Flexibility to work any shift within branch operating hours.
– Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and heavier loads with assistance.
– Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
