Job Title: Home Health Aide

Company: Norwill Healthcare Services, LLC.

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay: $15 – 17 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $17 for a Home Health Aide in Cleveland, OH, is generally below the national average, which typically ranges from $17 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and specific job requirements. According to local market conditions, this rate may also fall short when considering the rising cost of living in urban areas. While it may be competitive for entry-level positions or for organizations with tighter budgets, many experienced aides may find better compensation opportunities elsewhere. Overall, while it can be seen as acceptable for some, the pay does not completely align with industry standards in the area.

Job description:

Are you a caregiver at heart? We aim to connect with individuals who are eager to unlock their potential and make a meaningful impact in their communities. Regardless of your level of experience, our comprehensive training will equip you with the essential skills needed to excel as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or even progress to a nursing role, should you choose. All we ask is for your dedication; we will provide the necessary training and education!

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
Many HHAs describe their role as being paid to engage and connect with their patients. Your primary responsibility will be to alleviate obstacles in your patients’ daily lives. You will visit their homes to check on their well-being and deliver fundamental care, which includes meal planning and personal grooming. Your daily routine will encompass:

  • Monitoring the health status of your patient(s) by observing their physical and mental condition, as well as their intake, output, and exercise routines.
  • Providing housekeeping and laundry support; shopping for groceries and household necessities; preparing and serving meals and snacks; and running errands.
  • Assisting with personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Teaching patients how to utilize mobility aids (cane or walker), special eating utensils, and techniques for personal hygiene.
  • Guiding family members in the care of the patient, including safe lifting and repositioning techniques, as well as advice on nutrition and cleanliness.
  • Documenting information by making entries in the patient’s journal and promptly notifying the nursing supervisor of any changes or unusual conditions.

And much more!

Required Qualifications:
We seek attentive listeners who recognize that this role extends beyond merely completing a shift. As an HHA, you will leverage your understanding of the community to create special moments for your patients each day. You are our ideal candidate if you possess the following qualities:

  • Ability to establish and maintain a safe and effective environment.
  • Knowledge of health promotion and maintenance practices.
  • Experience in nursing skills and health care administration.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Reliability and dependability.
  • Emotional stability and control.
  • Previous experience in collaborative medical settings.
  • If you lack experience but possess a willingness to learn, we welcome you! We provide training for HHA certification.

What’s in It for You:
We believe that our commitment to customer satisfaction begins with ensuring your happiness. We go the extra mile to invest in your well-being and education by offering:

  • Referral bonuses
  • Daily pay options (Powered by TAP CHECK)
  • Promoted work-life balance
  • Engaging employee events
  • Peer learning programs
  • Opportunities for professional development
