Regardless of your experience level, our training program will equip you with the essential skills needed to excel as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or embark on a nursing career if desired. All we ask is for your commitment; we will provide the training and education necessary for your success.
Your Responsibilities:
As a Home Health Aide, your role will focus on enhancing the daily lives of your patients by removing barriers to their well-being. Your daily tasks will include:
- Monitoring patients’ conditions by observing their physical and mental health, as well as intake and output.
- Assisting with housekeeping and laundry duties; shopping for food and other household necessities; preparing and serving meals and snacks; running errands.
- Providing personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Empowering patients with self-care techniques, such as utilizing mobility aids and specialized utensils for eating, along with personal hygiene methodologies.
- Educating family members on proper techniques for lifting, turning, and repositioning patients, along with advice on nutrition and household cleanliness.
- Documenting patient information through journal entries and alerting the nursing supervisor to any changes or unusual conditions.
