ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Account Representative to join our insurance agency. In this role, you will provide outstanding service to our clients and prospects through various communication channels, including phone, email, text, and in-person interactions. You will manage customer policies, deliver consultative support, and expand existing coverage, all while fostering relationships that can lead to referral business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or fax, ensuring accurate documentation and processing.
– Update, organize, and manage client information and activities within the agency management system.
– Review renewals, process endorsements, requote, remarket, and upsell coverage where applicable, while identifying cross-sell opportunities.
– Identify and pursue account rounding and referral prospects.
– Facilitate new policy issuance, including information gathering, quoting, and application processing.
– Assist clients with claims by providing guidance on coverage and support for resolution.
– Process policy cancellations and address billing inquiries.
– Ensure compliance with underwriting requirements while working with clients to maintain coverage.
– Participate in meetings, adhere to established workflows, maintain licensing and designations, and engage in professional development opportunities.
