About This Position
JOB PURPOSE
The Operations Administrator plays a vital role in managing budgetary, data management, and logistical coordination tasks within the department. This position ensures that projects operate smoothly, with proper communication channels, up-to-date databases, and clearly defined activity flows. The Administrator is crucial to maintaining the alignment of departmental activities with project schedules and milestones, thereby supporting the Business & Product Planning Division effectively.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Budget Management:
- Implement budgetary controls and processes to enhance departmental operations.
- Monitor departmental expenditures and regularly update financial records.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and provide management with periodic financial reports.
- Facilitate summarization of departmental units and support resource planning discussions with the Department Lead.
Data Organization and Coordination:
- Advocate for data management best practices for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Organize and manage data flow within the department, ensuring efficient dissemination of information.
- Maintain a centralized database of departmental information, safeguarding its integrity and security by managing user access.
Services and Consulting Contracts Management:
- Support the Department Lead and Project LPL in developing and circulating Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Services Agreements (MSLs) to secure necessary stakeholder approvals, ensuring timely vendor and consultant engagement.
Logistics & Project Support:
- Provide logistical assistance to department members when accessing other Honda facilities.
- Identify appropriate contacts to support visiting Honda and external guests, as well as address unique project needs.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and access permissions as necessary.
- Evaluate and fulfill project requirements to effectively communicate the value of departmental and center activities, which includes collaborating with project leaders, securing assets and resources, and managing scheduling conflicts.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
- Strong organizational skills complemented by an adaptable mindset.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in database and information management systems.

Minimum Educational Qualifications
